It's bad enough that the electorate has such a short attention span that it feels that actors, talk show hosts, and law enforcement officials are qualified to be senior elected officials, but what ever happened to discussing the issues? All we hear about from the Republicans are scare tactics on terrorism and over and over the "flip-flop" character asassinations of John Kerry. What can they say about their dismal performance? Are they concerned about 45 million uninsured? Whether school kids can find jobs if they are "left behind?" If our communities are safer with assault weapons on the street? Jobs for the middle and lower classes? The future of our environment that is being polluted and destroyed? A debt our children will bear for years to come? Oh and the minor issue of rearranging the Supreme Court in their image....THE BUSHIES PERFORMANCE LACKS CREDIBILITY! Unless we confront these items, Iraq will be our only focus while our whole culture goes backwards towards the utter medicrity.... At least Kerry/Edwards offers us the chance to have the important discussions.
